Year 2021
The world was in a state of chaos. Humans and animals were hiding from the shadows, afraid of being consumed by the darkness. Legends were told about these creatures. They lurked in the dark and never failed to make anything, living or not, disappear.
These were called "Nightmares" due to their appearance and abilities. They were said to be able to enter the minds of those who were asleep and toy with their thoughts.
These were only said to be legends. Until it became a reality
October 1st, 2021:
Humans below the age of 20 but older than 5 haven't been awakening from their sleep. Scientists and other experts have been studying this phenomenon and have been trying to reverse it so that the Humans that are asleep can be awoken.
But all attempts were futile. There seemed to be no way in reversing.
October 20th, 2030
Nine years later, the phenomenon was still happening. Children who turned 6 never woke up from their sleep. This made the remaining humans to grow anxious and scared. What if the ones that were asleep never did wake up?
Then, it happened. Something Humans have been fearing for a while.
The first child below the age of 5 has not been awoken from her slumber.
This child's name is Yanna Alicante. She was only 3 years old when she was cursed into what they now call "Eternal Slumber."
November 1, 2030
The Eternal Slumber has now reduced the Human population by half. And it seemed that the age of those who are getting cursed with Eternal Slumber is getting lower. There have been reports of 4 year olds being cursed.

It was a Sunday night, family night for the Greens. They were playing a board game when it happened. At exactly 11:11 pm; a time for wishes, a sixteen year old girl wished for true love one day. At that exact moment her window smashed and something flew into her room. It was a flock of them; they attracted the house and only took one thing: the girl. She remembers it clearly, the way she screamed scared out of her mind. The way it grabbed her waist and took off. She remembers screaming for help but no one came to her rescue. My life was supposed to be normal. You're born, raised by good parents, go to school, make friends, graduate, get a job. You create fun memories, find the love of your life, get married, start a family, grow old, and eventually, you breathe your last. That's what life was supposed to be like for me. But instead, my life turned out to be the opposite of normal. And so it was for Chiara, Blake, Jake, Rowan, Nova, and Dijon. To tell our story, we need to go all the way back to the beginning. Before we were even born. It all started 30 years ago. April 5, 2003. a class got into an accident and when the survivors woke up, they realized something was wrong. they got powers , they got taken by scientist who started calling them the hollows. It took almost a month before they were rescued by Mr. Knight, they got taken to a secret place where they could live peacefully. that's a lie, one of the students wanted revenge and not stay hidden, so the group seperated. Every year another person got powers, and so, the search continued. But there was always one question on mr. Knight mind: Why 12 children the first time, and only one per year after that?
