I was a disappoint in everyone's eyes since the day I could crawl. Bullied, neglect, abused by everyone. They only started to change their opinions about me when I succeeded Dragon Training. I can't stand this anymore. There's nothing for me here. There has to be something more to my life than constantly being scorned, looked down upon and feeling like I'm worthless. I have to find myself a new life.

Since birth, Hiccup Haddock was different from everyone else. Later on in his life, he turned into a disappointment to the people and an embarrassment to Berk. He felt like a waste of space, worthless and useless. That the world was better of without his existence. That was, until he met Toothless.
Their meeting opened up Hiccup's eyes and gave him meaning. There was more to his life than this. And the killing of the Monstrous Nightmare only fuelled his decision to run away from his 'home'. So he does.
But we all know that the past is a boomerang.
So what will happen when he face to face with that past and other hardships the world will throw at him. Cause he sure as hell can't run away from all of them.

So he decided to take matters into his on hands by running away or flying away from berk, not the best move but knowing he was know as the village runt or the Chief's screwup and would always get beat up for no valid reasons by his cousin and his friends, sure he pass every training with a prefect score but he still did not get the respect that he deserve from the villagers. If he so tried to convince them. No one would listen to him. Not even his own father. But he wasn't running away with just Toothless but with Astrid as well. After their romantic flied which also change her view on dragons, and their discovery of the red death, Hiccup was still planning to run away even though he have just finally friended an actual human, he decided to tell her so he don't have to let her worry about him leaving without a word in the next day. When he finish telling her his plan and surprisingly to hiccup and even Toothless she beg to come with and she also told him her reason. Turns out Astrid Hofferson was abused and pressured by her own family. She have enough of it, Hiccup didn't really have yes as his first nor second choice but she beg him until he gave up and let her tag along. What would happen to them?, will this new path that choose was path to a bright future?,will something spark between them? (Obviously). What would the village have to say about this? First when he was six, and a nearby furnace blew up when he lost his temper. Then when he was eight, nine, eleven. These strange happenings kept occurring, and nothing he did helped. Everything he did, everything he tried had some way of turning back on him. For the longest time he believe that the God's cursed him.
