Meet 18 y/o Alex Byrd, a normal girl, who just moved to L.A. because of one of the most common reasons to move; her mom found a new job there.

Although she's kind of sad, and is obviously going to miss her friends she's leaving behind, she doesn't think of it as such a bad thing. Maybe because the house she's going to move into is pretty big, or the fact her best friend Emery is moving with her to the same neighbourhood! Makes it a lot more comforting.. I hope.

Anyways, she runs into the Dolantwins at school.. how unpredictable (note the sarcasm). But not just the school is quite fond of her, "the hot new girl".

Grayson Dolan, one of the popular people at school, (although he isn't the kind to crush so fast on someone), starts to develop a little crush on her as well..
