Follow Jay, formerly known as Janice (but don't mention the second syllable unless you want her to retract into her shell like a hermit crab), navigate her first year of university .

Jay struggles to create a successful social life when she ends up spilling all her thoughts the moment they pop into her mind. Her rambling paired with her social anxiety impairs her ability to make lasting friendships yet her mild obsession with obscure reality TV shows creates a lasting bond with famous TV star Jenny Day's son, Ky.

In this new environment, miles away from home, Jay has to establish a new comfort zone and set boundaries for herself if she wants to survive her first year at St. Paul's College. With no support system except for her unusually blunt roommate, Robin, Jay plans on becoming more sociable, after all the goal is to be normal.
