"An alien? Yeah right, and unicorns exist too, right?" So, maybe I was being a little rude to the girl I'd just met. Who cared? Certainly not me; my whole life had been living hell; a little rudeness from lil' old me was nothing, I hoped. The girl wearing a deer antler headband cocked her head to the side, gazing at me with the most confused and or conflicted expression I'd ever seen, and I'd seen a lot of expressions in my life time. This girl had what she might've thought a "logical" answer to every question I'd asked her. "Whatever, okay? Look, it's getting late, you should go home. Your parents might be looking for you." The girl hadn't been that much younger than me, but my mother's ways had long since rubbed off on me, and I absentmindedly cared about everyone else. I considered it a second nature. "My.. parents?
