Ariana Kingsley never was your typical girl. She was a girl who loved to climb, swim, and have fun. Your typical tomboy. All she's ever wanted is to see her mom again (who died in a car crash when she was 6 years old), get away from her abusive father Marcus, and have an adventure. Finally one day, her wish comes true. Ariana and her best friends, Jake Spencer and Brendon Davis, are visiting an art gallery when odd things start to happen. Then, they're attacked at school, and their English teacher tells them surprising information: they're all children of the greek gods. But what's worse, Ariana is the Elemental-a child of 2 gods who can control the elements-and she isn't supposed to exist. Gods and monsters are out to kill her, along with a certain evil scientist who has vampiric tendencies, and Ariana, Jake, and Brendon are thrown headfirst into a world filled with monsters and gods and everything is trying to kill them. With danger at every turn, they must fight for their lives, and possibly for each other.

1st Place in the Percy Jackson Wattys 2018 * '"So it's settled then." Zeus said, "In order to solidify our truce with Nyx Apollo will marry Nyx's demigod daughter Ariadne."' * Ariadne lived in hell. Not the figurative type of hell-she really lived in hell. She was born and raised in Tartarus, the home of monsters, by her godly mother Nyx. She never knew anything about her father other than the fact that he was a son of Athena, and he was dead. Ariadne always dreamed of the world. She had lived her life in darkness, never seeing the light of day. That is until she turned sixteen, and her mother made a deal with the Olympians. Nyx would side with them against Kronos if Ariadne married Apollo. Unable to see her mother's real motives behind the deal, Ariadne jumps at the chance to leave hell, and get away from her mother. But Olympus is in the middle of a war, and Ariadne had never been one to sit out of a fight. If the war wasn't enough, Ariadne finds herself falling in love with the last person she ever expected to fall for. She fell head over heels for Apollo. * Disclaimer: This story is based around the Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus and Trials of Apollo books. All rights go to Rick Riordan. **Book Summary: Greece Odyssey** Amid the tranquil coastal village of Elysia, a young fisherman named Leonidas dreams of adventure beyond the shimmering horizon. Fate, however, has designs greater than his dreams. When the muse Calliope descends from Olympus, draped in a cloak woven from the light of the stars, she reveals to Leonidas his role in an age-old prophecy-one that speaks of a mortal who will stand against the turbulent tides of godly strife. Guided by Calliope's celestial wisdom, Leonidas embarks on a treacherous odyssey to secure the blessings of the gods. His journey tests his mettle and resolve as he faces mythical beasts, cunning adversaries, and his own inner demons. Along the way, he crosses paths with the likes of Athena, Hermes, Medusa, Circe, and more, each encounter leaving an indelible mark on his soul. As Leonidas' legend grows, so too does the tumult among the gods of Olympus. Zeus, seated atop the divine pantheon, observes the mortal's progress with a mixture of trepidation and intrigue. In a climactic assembly of the gods, a decision is reached that will forever alter the fate of both realms-a decision that beckons Leonidas toward an ultimate confrontation. Leonidas' quest culminates in a cataclysmic clash of gods and titans, where the threads of fate converge and diverge with every heartbeat. As the young hero confronts his own limits, he must also confront the malevolent deity who has manipulated the very fabric of existence. With courage forged in the crucible of trials, Leonidas rises to a destiny beyond imagination. In a world where the divine and mortal realms intersect, where power and virtue collide, "Echoes of Olympus" weaves an epic tapestry of heroism, sacrifice, and the unbreakable ties between humanity and the gods. As the constellations blaze overhead, the story's echoes resonate through time, a reminder that the echo of one mortal's valor can ripple across the cosmos, forever shaping the world

Godlings with further enhanced strength, speed, and stamina, Primes are as rare as they are powerful. For this reason, Lea was sent to save the world from a threat rising in the west. She succeeded, but at a cost. And now, it appears that the chaos isn't over. Before Lea gets the chance to settle back into a normal life she's jarred back into the world of the godlings. Then, after having strange monsters sicked on her, she flees back to the home of the gods only find that those monsters are much more of threat to her than any she'd faced before. The monsters, taking on traits of multiple mythological beasts, are the result of someone's experiment. Someone is taking monsters, playing with their DNA, and creating something that shouldn't exist: they're creating hybrids. -------------------------------------------------- Rated PG-13 for Intense Action Violence, Fantasy violence, Mild Language, and Mature humor ((This is an original work, not a fanfiction.
