Violet Cruz has been in an abusive relationship with her boyfriend, Travis for over a year now. She loves him so much, and she doesn't understand why her one true love would do this to her. But after every beating he would say, "I didn't mean it, I love you and I won't do it again" and she would fall under his spell every time. While Violet is at work, she meets a boy named Austin Carlile and they become extremely close.
