High school isn't like the books make it out to be. There aren't cliques, there isn't a queen bee, and most times you definitely don't get to live a fairytale romance. Sapphire knew this stepping up to the plate. She knew if you're not rich, or extremely hot, you automatically set your place in school to where you can't converse with the people who are. The popular people (who by the way aren't really called that face to face) have an image that if you don't fit with it you just aren't one of them.
With only her best friend Darren by her side, she trudged her way through high-school being the least popular kid there, and was ready to face this new year of school head first. Unseen for another year more.
All sapphire ever wanted was to stay under the radar but when someone from her and Darren's past claims her heart she does everything she can to shut her feelings out, but sometimes your feelings can't be shut out.
And thats not even the best part. He's a popular, and popular's most definitely NOT her type.

Camryn has always been bullied. Not just at school but in her own home also by her stepfather. Ever since her father passed when she was five years old, a couple years later, her mother got remarried and he saved her family financially. Any time she had ever told her mom about the abuse, she would tell her to suck it up. So she kept quiet and started eating her feelings hoping also that if she became big, he wouldn't hurt her as much. Rodster is the biggest badboy in town whosd parents both died a couple years apart from whe. he was little and his grandmother that had taken care of him up until recently she died, he has been taking care of himself for years and happens to not believe in love or caring too much about anyone but himself. Then the new girl walks into school and right away, holds up his reputation and starts to pick on her until one night, he see's something he can not UNSEE. Now, he needs to hurry and make a decision of what is more important......His reputation or being a decent human being...... Some people WANT and CAN change but then there are those who will NEVER change.
