150 years in the future little exists of humanity but what they left behind; a war-torn world. Those left that survived fractured into two groups, the Cabal and the Renegade. One fights for order, the other for freedom. Neither remembers how, or when, the fighting started but both realize that it will end with their own extinction... Until one day a crazy man's ideas are realized and materialized into something that could change the war forever.
Jaya has suffered from this war-torn world like many others. Orphaned at a young age, she has known the bottom of the tier her whole life and her whole life she has dreamed only of the top.
Of the Dragon Warriors.
Made of fire and rage, the Dragon Warriors are the greatest weapon ever created. The ability to become a vicious beast with wings, claws and bulletproof scales made them the new hope for winning the war against the Cabal.
At least they used to be thought of as that.
Nowadays the people see them as the fodder that wastes their food and fills their graves.
Inside Jaya is a deep-seated rage to get back at the ones who took everything away from her in the war but her shy outward personality stops her from doing anything but daydream.
Jaya must fight against not only the people around her, but also herself in order to achieve that which she desires most: Revenge.

First, there was existence. Then, creation. And finally, life. Organisms started to exist and live on the insignificant planet known as Earth in the middle of a galaxy out of the endless void that is space. Two races gained a gift all other creatures don't have: intelligence. Humanity and Dragonkind. I sighed heavily as I scanned the forest. I had heard something or someone to be specific, wandering about. I decided I would leave once I affirmed they weren't a danger. "What are you doing in my land, human?" A deep enchanting voice spoke I sighed once again "I'm not human, just smell like one" I spoke as I turned around to see the most stunning man I have ever seen "Mate" he spoke "Find another female, Lycan" I spat He only growled at me in response. Men. My brother was the same way. It's kinda funny how all, correction, most shifter men think alike. I would've thought he would be different, after all, he is Lycan. Something of myths. But then again, so are the supernatural. I turned away from him, not even looking at him. I didn't want to remember what he looked like so I didn't give him a second glance. I heard him move closer. I quickly grabbed the knife out of my holster and threw it at a tree next to him. He stops moving then. "Heed my warning. It's the only one you'll get" I spoke coldly "I will find you. Then you will have no escape from me" he spoke as he backed away I could understand. Lycans, like lion-shifters, were going extinct. Therefore mates were even more important to them. But, even if I understood I still didn't want to be someone's mate. Something caught my eye and when I looked up in the mirror I saw Rykan stepping inside, shutting the door and sliding the lock in place. My heart hammered in my chest as he approached me.
