Every Breath You Take

Serena Landing's life was perfectly planned out. She was drama club president (even though she was only a junior), had plans for college, and even had a boyfriend--a boyfriend she hoped would soon ask her to homecoming. It seemed as if there was one thing making life difficult.

The two didn't mix. They couldn't remember a time when they actually got along. Since fourth grade, the two were constantly messing with each other and getting back.

Jacob Millford learned to live avoiding the spotlight. That happens when you grow up in a family of vampire hunters. He became a master of stealth, and he was trying to figure out the plans that some vampires in the area had. Still, the role of a vampire hunter had changed. They did more than just kill vampires--they also helped those who had been turned into vampires get back to their normal lives again.

When Serena is bitten by a vampire, she and Jacob are thrown together and forced to be allies. As she attempts to get back to living a normal life, she introduces Jacob to a normal, human life. As she learns to live again, he learns how to live for the first time.

Still, there is a plan brewing around them, and a normal life may not be the only thing they have to lose.
