Scientists have uncovered a very rare life form.
Aliens of different species, verging from mermaids to demons. They probably came from different planets.
Now all that's left to do is pair up a scientist with a creature.

The Cave
Five co-workers and a guide struggle with a creature, a live relic from the past and from another dimensional plane. The creature is simultaneously lizard and birdlike, while also having anthropoidic characteristics. Once upon a time, this alien race made contact with a lost human Civilization in the region. The two races initially made an alliance, but the greed of some of the humans caused a war to erupt. The discovery and cursory inspection of the cave by one of the characters results in an impromptu, amateur tour. During the journey through the cave one of the co-workers, through a combination of stubbornness, curiosity and willfulness, becomes separated. He stumbles upon a cache of interesting artifacts inside of an oddly inhuman room with alien technology. It is in these confines where he unlocks the being whose last memories of human interaction are still freshly stinging its memory. The group grapples through the tenuous caves trying to escape the creature's vengeful wrath. The ensuing mad flight from the cave to relative safety results in a battle for survival.Complete

For centuries, the human race has been at the mercy of deep space. While on Earth, scientists discovered the Ice Age would be occurring much sooner than predicted. They built Arks and jettisoned specified colonies on a direct course for Pluto to escape their frozen fates. Then, the Drax arrived. All of the colonies were destroyed except for one: Canis, the leader of the evacuation. Canis's designated animal was the wolf. We escaped Earth and made it to Pluto, colonized it, made it our new home. They found us again. Only a few survivors live on. My father, the captain and leader, was killed in the attack. My friends survived with me, and we all agree there is only one place we can run. We have to go back. We must return to our home. These alien lifeforms were capable of controlling human bodies, infecting them with their black dust, impregnating fertile human female's, and growing the Irinaut's massive companions, the Yeti's, a less evolved version of the Irinaut. Earth is gone. Nothing more then a ball of dust. After the people fled on ships, they traveled to their new hope. It was a place of solitude. The human race was able to flee from the foreign infection, but for how long? Luna was frozen on the ship. For nearly a 200 years, their ship had traveled. Many people had been placed in a cryogenic state. That of which kept them from aging as they made their way out of the infection. For them, a place of safety, The Solar Sun. The Solar Sun space ship was the closest landing unit in the solar system. Many others would have to be traveled to after refueling and preparing for another two or three centuries of being in a cryogenic state.
