Emma Swan has just moved to a small town in Maine after being adopted. She is completely dreading Senior Year but she is game for whatever can end the torture that is high school. She is sure that people will ignore her as they always have.
But that all changes when someone catches Emma's eye. It just so happens that this someone notices her as well. That someone is Killian Jones. The most popular guy in school. He practically has the looks and the body of a god.
What Emma doesn't realize is that there is more truth behind that remark than she could imagine.
Killian Jones is not human and has never been.
