This is my first Sword Art Online fan-fiction and my first fan-fiction in general.

It is mentioned several times throughout the Anime as well as the manga about Floor sixty-seven. It is, after Kirito defeated The Gleam Eyes on floor seventy-four, the last time a player had been killed during a boss encounter.
In spite of this we are never shown what floor sixty-seven was like.

This story was created to offer a perspective on what MIGHT have been on that infamous level.

This is a retelling of the "Fairy Dance Arc" from "Sword Art Online." Since the "Sword Art Online Progressive" movie is dropping this year, I thought it was perfect timing to write my own version of this arc with my own twist on it. The story focuses on Kirito waking up after beating the death game of "Sword Art Online" and learning that Asuna isn't awake, yet. Not being able to handle the guilt, he loses all of the swagger and confidence that he once had in the original game. Kirito learns that Asuna is in a different VR world and with the help of his friends and sister, he must save Asuna from a threat unlike anything that he faced in the original "Sword Art Online."
