Life was simple for college student Cress Lowenthal, that was, until he found his entire world flipped upside down. Forcefully transported from the world he had known and grown up in for 19 years, he found himself in a strange and quite fantasy-like world called Elsamira.
Without knowing the reason for his sudden appearance in this world, he travels, searching for answers and perhaps a way back home. On his travels he will meet many people, friends and foes, acquaintances and allies. People he can trust, and people who intend him harm.
