When Astrid Lyons is enrolled into Hollows School For The Exceptionally Gifted, she quickly finds that the students aren't gifted because they're really smart, they're gifted because they have gifts, like reading personality and emotions, knowing if someone's lying, knowing so many facts you're basically a Human Encyclopedia, Etc. She also finds out she was enrolled because she has one of these gift. She soon becomes friends with 3 guys: Jasper Hart, Levi Goldsworth, and Simon Fray.
