When Astrid Lyons is enrolled into Hollows School For The Exceptionally Gifted, she quickly finds that the students aren't gifted because they're really smart, they're gifted because they have gifts, like reading personality and emotions, knowing if someone's lying, knowing so many facts you're basically a Human Encyclopedia, Etc. She also finds out she was enrolled because she has one of these gift. She soon becomes friends with 3 guys: Jasper Hart, Levi Goldsworth, and Simon Fray. Suddenly a bunch of their classmates start mysteriously getting murdered, they soon band together and use their gifts to try and solve the murders.

I watched him watch me as he was about to press his fist into the big red button that read "Emergency Fire!". I was unable to form words because, I thought about how hot he looked as he stared back at me with such intensity. It just intrigued me.
