(Undergoing a major rewrite,) Life has certainly given those who take risks like these, the necessary battle scars. I didn't ask for this. But I knew what I was signing up for. I finger a gash on my mask, where the light alloy was cut through. Was I prepared? I never knew what would happen. Of anything. Back then I had done it with such little fear.
