Freddie's life has always been perfect. Good family, good friends, good hair, and of course good looks. But it was all an act. All a lie. Except for the friends, hair, and good looks. Everyone thought he was perfect but he's not. Freddie has cancer. It isn't bad at first but it's getting worse. His mom wants to send him to the hospital but his dad says otherwise.
But then, Tomika, Summer, Zack, and Lawrence get into a fight. The stress effects his cancer and it starts effecting his insides and outside even worse. His skin gets paler every 10 hours, he coughs up and throws up blood, he barely has any sanity, and most importantly, his energy is disappearing. That means he gets bags under his eyes no matter how much he sleeps. Plus he'll get weaker and weaker until...

But instead, she spent her days in class sneaking glances at him, and getting any chance to talk to him no matter how nervous she gets. That isn't the case for Richie, though his crush on the girl only started in the sixth grade, he flirts with her at any chance he's get's. Which isn't much, due to their completely separate lives.
