My name's London Blu.I'm 18.& I go to high school.The 4nd year of it.The WORST school year.I get bullied, everyone hates me, I dont have parents, but happy things in my life, turn around.And sad things in my life, turn around. Nothing can change me, is what I think.My uncle forces me to get help, which doesn't work at all.So still, stress in school,stress at home, and stress in my body. -Let's get this straight. From a dead end job to a useless crazy ex boyfriend- my happiness is with my best friend yet the fear of our relationship ending completely scares me and id rather fake it and be in fear than find out and never be happy. The first in the Gone trilogy. ❝People change. Memories don't. ❞ I had that one person. That one person who would be my brightness in the dullest of days (trust me, there were a lot) just by gracing me with his presence. The frown that was permanently etched on my face would always seemingly dissipate into the happiness I felt when we'd meet up, running into his arms like he was my safe place. Everyone expected him to have someone, but no one thought it'd be me. No one wanted it to be me. Looking back on it now, it seemed like a typical love story. Him, the kind and gentle-hearted boy and I, the rude and cold-hearted girl. He wasn't kind, he wasn't gentle-hearted because if he was, then he wouldn't have left. Without a word. Settling Slowly
2015 rolled in with a bang, and it did not have the grace to gift me with a social life that everyone in a one hundred year radius would be jealous of or that is even just the talk of the town. Instead I got myself into a complicated relationship which wasn't much talked about, a relationship that I didn't get into is talked about all the time and university is around the figurative corner. That is where you can factor in people I suppose I should call 'fans', the fascination that comes in with cutlery, pots, pans and other formerly boring things. But let us not forget that my parents are finally getting married and Mum can't shop for lace without me wanting to kill her, add in a dose of sleepless nights, invigorating kisses - which have nothing to do with the sleepless nights and a lot to do with nightmares - Harriet not knowing the meaning of the words "you're done" and Ice Ice Baby is still a thing. We're all growing up (except Dad who will still make inappropriate jokes at every inappropriate moment, some to do with what cannot be done when you're wearing a plaster cast) and holidays are being planned though some are less holiday and more a mad dash to find somewhere to live out in the big wide world without our parents. Lonely. That's what she was. See, she left her best friend in high school. They met in their first year of high school, she slowly fell in love with him but instead of admitting her feelings she pushed him away, she told him they should stop hanging out, he reluctantly agreed and told her that if that would make her happy then they would stop hanging out, little did he know is that not long after that she fell into a depression, locked herself in her bedroom for months on end, refused to eat properly, became suicidal, began harming herself and was anything but happy. She dropped out of school at the age of fifteen and began studying at home or at the local library to get to University. That worked out for her, she changed her looks and everything else about herself just so she'd feel better about herself during the four years she had at home, she slowly began eating properly again, she overcame her depression and she got into university with flying colours. She is even currently two months clean of self harm. But could her walls come caving in when she meets him again? Will he recognise her despite her change of appearance? Will seeing him again bring old feelings back up? And most importantly, is there a way back for the two of them or will they have to start all over again?
