The Captain was a challenge I presented to myself a little while ago. It is unlike my other work. I limited the action, and focused almost the entire short story on strong emotion. It is presented in a way unlike my usual writing style and in a Sci-Fi setting which I am not used to. When I get more of my work up, you can see my normal writing style. It can also be found in my Co-authored book, The Hunter of Dunglyr.
The Captain is a short story focusing on the troubles of a captain on the ship, the Admission. He is facing death, and has only moments to think about what matters to him most and question his biggest decision in life. The story is limited to this small segment of his story. as a way for me to experiment with new things.

The Fractured Veil
This is my first attempt at ever writing something this long after being pressured into it by a couple friends saying I should try it since they really liked my short stories. This is meant to be a start of an introduction of six characters of which I kind of wish to build a story around. I also kind of wrote this in an anime style because I feel you can do more with anime than regular story characters. This origin is about a young man who was taken from his home at the age of three after his parents were supposedly killed. He was always treated special by the organizations leader but because of this he was outcast-ed by his fellow trainees. At the point where this story begins proper, he is given a task that hasn't been done to his knowledge at the age of fourteen. This task changes a lot of how he views the world and those around him.Complete

This story is about a young female starting into college that learns there is more to life than having a family, friends, working hard in school, and all the rest. She finds herself ripped from her world to another. The story starts with her being a knight on another planet. She must face her traumas of being a slave, so she ends up writing a journal of what she did go through and felt. We all go through heard times. Each individual must face their fears to overcome them. This is what Marry Wills will do throughout this story. Earth has Fallen, it's as simple as it states. Ten years prior, They came. The Tephra, came to Earth intending to take over the life baring Planet. A humanoid species more advanced in weaponry, skills and knowledge than the Human race; looked to make it their home. Countries leaders refused to allow such a thing to happen and war soon ensued. Countless lives wasted to the attack when peace and coexistence could have been an option. Human's, losing, resorted to no other option then chemical warfare. Lieth was born in Scottland and migrated to America as a child when she was ten years old, Ten years before the invasion. She was now 30yrs old. The chemical used in the war completely altered her genetic makeup. She stopped growing upon becoming infected and the effects were permanent. The chemical also caused her hair roots to stain a deep green hue giving her a more inhuman hair color. Her eyes defined her the most. They were a brilliant shade of Ember, like flames in a fire. Kaija was Heir to his Father's Reine. The Tephra were a very tall, fit, Agile and fast, clearly built for hunting. They also stopped aging once they hit adult-hood. Dying only due to sickness, accidents or being slain. Kai's hope was to hopefully unite both races, by force if needed. Kai had long white hair that went past his hips. His skin was a tannish cream tone, a scar over his left eye. He had an agile black tail that was adorned in gold armor. Long pointed elf-like ears. He wore black armor with gold trimming that was protective against attacks of any kind, but was very light making it easy for him to move around. Armored boots adorned with climbing spikes and gloves that exposed his razor-sharp claws. The most distinctive feature of all was the golden skill mask he wore that shown is crystalline blue hues.
