2008: Patrick finds himself caught up in a battle between humans and creatures of the shadows. Which side is he on? Who are the mysterious Youngbloods? Who will emerge victorious? And the real question: does Patrick even care?
2011: Pete wakes up in the middle of the night. He's outside, on his own, in an achingly familiar place; and he's hungry as hell. Beaten, shook but determined for revenge, finding who did this to him is the easy part. The hard part is finding someone who can get the old Pete back.
As both of them lose sight of their original selves, can they fix their problems together?
