Sometimes you have to pretend to be happy so people don't see that you are in pain. Some people just want that one person in their life who will look closer and see how broken you are.

Meet Ashlyn Martin. She blocks out the world, hiding behind her favorite clothes...baggy clothes. She is extremely thin but is self conscious of her body because everyone calls her ugly and anorenzic. And she always wears long sleeved shirts because she cuts herself and doesn't want people to know.

She also hides behind baggie clothes because she thinks that if she does her past will never resurface--the tears and nightmares will never be remembered.

But then she moves to a new town and starts high school in a new place. She never expected she'd become friends with the most popular boy in school,Matt Reed, who helps her get past her insecurities and find who she really was.
