A woman name Elizabeth Maryann Wills is not an ordinary woman, but a pirate that has her own ship and her own crewmates with a terrible past that seems to haunt her. When a tragedy occurs her entire world is turned upside down once more. A man named Edward Kenway the pirate that sails the Caribbean Sea comes to her rescue. Things aren't always what they turn out to be for Elizabeth and Edward leaves her Havana. The second time they meet, Elizabeth doesn't take to kindly to the man that left her there in the boring town name Havana. She put her differences aside as she agreed to Edward's offer that he makes for her and she went with him to the next city, but she doesn't except her past to come back.  

There are questions to be answered and a past begins to unravel for Miss Elizabeth. Elizabeth makes it her goal to have her revenge on the one who raids her ship and her lover's ship as well. The thing is that Elizabeth doesn't know that things aren't what they seem to be. Will she do it alone or with the help of the mischievous Mister Edward Kenway? And so our story begins...
