Both Arthur and Mordred are mortally wounded, the Legends are clear on that much, and Sir Bedevere returns Excalibur to the Lake. But the Legends forget the loyal serving boy, kneeling beside his King as life is so cruelly taken from him. The boy who has fathered the very Legends that will recall King Arthur's reign for centuries to come.
So I offer you, dear reader, the story of King Arthur's final words. What really happened that fateful day. And most importantly of all, how love is eternal.
