Charlize, an 11 year old girl, has had a hard life. Well, maybe it's a bit cliche, but hey. Why is she upset? Uh... it's along story.

She has been abused since the age of 2, and has avoided others. But, what happens when she meets a mysterious boy named Colin, who may even be in the same boat as herself? And, when they find a secret hideout to escape their lives? Will they become more then friends? Or will their friendship be torn apart by their nasty lives? You'll have to read to one out.
