[EDITED EDITION] Hera could no longer hear the clicking of her heels as she walked towards the Magic Fountain, the fountain that would protect her from possession of a Conjured. The floor here was still stone like in the hallway, yet it was dead quiet. Her shoes just made no noise. She was so close she could make out the individual strands of magic in the water of the Fountain when she heard the scream. It was shrill and blood-curdling, filled with so much fear it made Hera want to scream herself. Which she did, when she looked up. It was a Conjured. Yet no amount of reading could have prepared her for what was to come. A war has been waging for centuries. The war between Giala and Conjured - evil, decaying, humanlike creatures with burning blue eyes and a hatred for royals. Royals like Hera, princess of Giala. And now, as the new queen, it's Hera's job to kill them, and not loose herself or the bright colours of her world in the battle for peace.

My eyes landed on the third to last offered woman, the fire light dancing across her fair skin like waves of orange caressing her body, her long dark brown hair descending to her lower back in a wavy cascade, the red silk dress she wore hugged her body perfectly and dipped to show her breasts before continuing to flow down to pool on the forest floor beneath her feet as if it were worshiping her the way everything inside of me was longing to do at this moment. Causing an image of me running my hands over her unblemished porcelain skin to pass through my mind. Even though I knew she was scared, she held her head high and refused to show fear to the men in the clearing, both vampire and werewolves alike. She's the offering I will accept, no one else is worthy of this goddess , no one else will touch her perfect skin or I'll rip their fucking hands off.

As Enchantress reached the summit of her flight she stopped for a mere second at the apex before diving towards the ground at blinding speed until, they were about to hit the tree line below them. Just before she reached the trees, Enchantress levelled out and begun flying normally. When Enchantress was happy that she had frightened Talon enough, she started to fly at a gentle but fast speed thus allowing Talon to see with ease the ground below and savour the relaxed but powerful atmosphere of being a dragon rider for the first time.

The hand gripping my wrist, the lips pressing against mine-gone. And I was left standing there, completely stunned. It felt as though I had forgotten my own name. I started to tremble. My legs gave out beneath me, and I collapsed to the ground. Sitting there, shaking in shock, I finally understood what he was.

Suddenly there was a huge roar. I take a step back covering my ears, my head spins, it is so loud I can't hear myself think. I stand at the mouth of the cave that yawns wide open on the side of a cave. Its big, bigger than a mountain lion bigger than a bear. And I am about to walk into it's cave. But I HAVE to find out what it is. What if there IS a dragon? It will eat me for sure. but I keep going, I just need to make sure it doesn't see me. I walk to this opening as the path split in two edging me across the wall. I will be careful, silent, it will never know I was even here. There is a rocky cliff side and a drop. I look up from my thought and my eyes lock with gleaming golden eyes. I freeze every muscle in my body locks and I can't move. Towering taller than a building stands something I never thought could exist. A dragon. My heart pounded in my ears as my blood ran cold.
