There was a war raging on in the world. But then again there always was. The meager human wars were nothing compared to what was happening now. It was a war no mere human could fight. Well at least not by themselves. The Gods had started a war within themselves. All the Gods were forced to choose sides. The humans didn't notice it at first. Hurricanes were the usual at that time of year when it all started. It wasn't until volcanoes thought to be inactive started erupting, viruses became incurable, and earthquakes were happening everywhere that we started to become curious. Scientists couldn't find out what was going on. The Gods were using Earth as their battlefield and any human caught in the crossfire would be killed. The Earth was doomed to be destroyed and nobody could stop the coming deaths. Nobody but the Gods themselves knew why. Kat always knew about The Prophecy. She knew that she would lose her family. She didn't know she would unleash her own end. _____________________________________________________________ Life. It's one of those words that doesn't really have meaning to me. I do know one thing about it though. Life has a way of screwing over the innocent. Making us think that the worst is gone and every things gonna be good when really its all a lie. I am a fooled innocent. I thought that maybe if I forgot about my past I could finally move on and be happy. Move on and find love. Move on and find a home. Move on and maybe... maybe finally find myself. That's how I ended up running. Running from my could have been future and past life, suddenly colliding with each other. I was delusionally fooled into thinking I could move on when I forgot that I am being hunted. I am slowly being hunted by the thing I once though to be more beautiful than life. I am being hunted by Death itself.
