AU! Katie "Pidge" Holt has lost both her father and he brother, leaving her with her unstable mother. She's extremely tom-boyish and intelligent- not the type boys are into. She's close friends with her coworkers, but she refuses to tell them her past. Her world is flipped upside-down by a veteran with a mechanical arm and broken memory... ~ Lol, sucky description really sucks, idk. Anyway, somehow, my life got sucked into a plethora of anime all at once and this one (Voltron: Legendary Defender) is screaming in my head the most as well as Miraculous Ladybug and Hetalia (totally different plotted animes). Anyway, I decided to finally write a fic aboug Pidge and Shiro because I think they are too cute together. I'm still working on shipping other characters. Idk. Anyway, please enjoy. I do not own Voltron: Legendary Defender or any of the characters used in this story aside from whatever ones I for some reason or another decide to make up. Lance has nightmares about his family back on earth, and whenever he needs to calm down from one he'll go to the control room and just sit. He'll stare at the stars and try to handle things all on his own. But one night, when a nightmare that topped all nightmares crashed into Lance's head, he wasn't able to calm himself. Keith had seen his teammate upset that night and decided to take mater into his own hands. Between deadly battles and wrenching heartache, both paladins grow closer than ever to each other as feelings are dug up. Rivalry turns into friendship, and friendship turns into something more. Will they make it out of this alright, or will the path that they take together cut their relationship off at the head? This is my very first fanfic so sorry if it's absolute trash. Also, this takes place a while back When Zarkon was their main threat but I altered the timeline so that Pidge had her brother. I know, I'm terrible but ehh.
