You don't need to tell Kyra Michaels that she's not normal. Really. It's been pretty obvious to her since...oh, her BIRTH.

She hadn't meant to upset the harpies. Honestly, what they considered a threat was merely an act of good intentions on her part.

As they fall for one another a dark figure lerks in the shadows, plotting something sinister for our mage Claire. Could this dark figure perhaps have something to do with Claire's unclear past? Can Raven, a Black, somehow save this woman before she's taken from him forever?
