Why had so many dignitaries come to see him recently? Lexis had always questioned the king. She and her allies had been belittled by him with every step they took. As her broken brother blocks her way and watchful eyes were constantly down her throat, to what lengths would Lexis go to for freedom? When everyone sees her as wronged, what would she do when she reaches a fork in the road?

A Princess, secretly atending a public high school under a facade, now has to fight for her country and throne after a group anti-monarchist's from another country overthrow her Mother, the Queen- all whilst keeping her real identity a secrect. Elizabeth Skylar Rose Niyxoska is living on borrowed time. Sudenly her life isn't about living, it's about surviving. In a city full of jackals and anti- monarchist's who want her throne for themselves Elizabeth now has to learn how to live in secrecy and trust the facade that was formed for her to freely walk around school all while she builds the Resistance and plots how to get her throne back. "I don't think people understand how import being a Queen is today. The weight of the tittle and responsibilities don't convey like they used to in the past; many see the tittle as a figurehead. Imagine you're famous from birth because you were born a princess. Next, you're a Queen of millions of people and a country." Elizabeth sighed, she hated standing up on the dias where throne laid. Now, she was a Queen, sitting on that very throne. In a world where weapons such a guns don't exsist Elizabeth has to use her mind as her main weapon rather than her sword.
