Thorns in the Shadows

After a brutal and bloody war between warring factions within the realm of Astoria, a time of peace was short lived with the arrival an overwhelming force of pure evil named Kruul "The Feared One". The great white dragon left the land torn asunder and the horizon in flames as thousands perished and kings were brought to their knees. After several days of relentless destruction, and as the soot and debris began to settle, the leaders of Astoria began to pick up the pieces and formulate a plot to take back their land. Kingdoms forged unlikely alliances and devised an intricate plan to lure Kruul to the ancient ruins of Nordrun. Together they brought down the menace of Astoria with a combination of brawn and magic. His soul was trapped and placed into a relic known as the Crystal Horn of Destiny and buried in a secret location.
Years later, Astoria was once again on the brink of all-out war as rumors began to spread about the ruthless Odyshian Empire searching for the Crystal Horn of Destiny. This troubling news traveled quickly throughout the realm because legend has it that this horn was the key to resurrecting Kruul. It was believed that those who controlled this great beast had the power to conquer any kingdom throughout the land. While some made it their sole mission to obtain the horn others made it their mission to protect it. Troubled winds are bearing down on the realm and soon swords will clash and blood will spill once again behind the threat of The Feared One.
