Avery Smith is your average 18 year old girl, always happy & just enjoying life or at least that's what everyone else thinks. No one knows what really goes on in her life. They don't know that her mom died of lung cancer or that her dad hasn't been taking it well and comes home drunk very night and beats her. He calls her worthless and blames the death on her. No one knows except for her best friend Clair, who she's known since pre-school. It's Avery's last day of high school which means it's summer time! Avery's been secretly saving up for her dream trip to London, she plans to go with Clair.
