A circus A lion cub A street carnival And a stolen little girl Athena, a two year old girl, is the daughter of the owners of the most famous circus run by African Americans in the country. She's already taking part in the festivity of the wonderful place she calls home. How? She works with lions. Born at the same time as a beautiful lioness, they're inseparable. Her parents are training them for an act like no other, and they sleep in the same crate. Then, one day, the unthinkable happens. The crate disappears. Athena and her little lion end up where nobody would have ever expected. Now, follow them on their journey home.
