Lily Travis is constantly on the lookout for her soulmate, constantly looking for the one who holds the key that will unlock her charm. She's had the charm since she was born, but then again everyone has. She dreams of the day when she'll finally meet her soulmate, who will "unlock the key to her heart," so to speak, and spend the rest of her life with him living happily ever after, just as the law says to. Her dreams start becoming reality when she meets Liam, the new guy in town.
