Enciphered Inscriptions • Gravity Falls

The sun beat down on the deserted road, smothered with sawdust and little bits of withered pine needles. They aren't, however, to stay here forever; they were soon swept away by the strong wind.

The residue was then dropped on a signboard, where various species of fungi have made little colonies in the dents of the wood. You can barely make out the phrase "Welcome to Gravity Falls" on it, for it has faded away over time.

The wind carried away quite a good amount of dust away to reveal a book; a journal of sorts. It suddenly opened up, revealing unusual notes and scratches in the yellowed pages. Some of them was seemingly stained with what looked like little drops of blood.

As it flipped to the last page, the blood suddenly became more prominent. There was a phrase and a sentence enclosed in quotation marks written there.

ENCIPHERED INSCRIPTIONS.

"On a bus ride to this town, there's weirdness all around."
