A loud scream was heard trough out the battlefield
Everyone stopped and looked where the scream came from.
Suddenly the ten tails was gone and everything went quiet.
SAKURA was heard though the silence.
Sakura POV
Everything went dark and it felt like her body was being torn in every direction.
I open my eyes it's blurry and see the blonde hair that I know all to well
I open my mouth and mutter Naruto
And I go unconscious again.

Preventing The Inevitable
In which Sakura tries to figure out if she's been sent to the past-or an alternate universe with suspicious tweaks. Dying was everything she had expected, an inevitable event, bound to happen sooner rather than later (a lot sooner, actually)-an unstoppable force, driven by the arm of a rabbit goddess piercing through her, and just barely not enough will to survive. And yet, it was nothing she could've ever prepared for. Not when she found herself four years old again, and a pink-haired stranger roamed her strangely empty house, claiming to be her brother. - "Sakura had one thought, waking up screaming her lungs out. Sasuke looked forward and gasped. A kunai was coming; full speed. "SASUKE!!" Sasuke closed his eyes. He waited for the impact. He opened his eyes to Sakura making eye contact with him. "Sakura...?" The kunai was in her back. She panted in pain. "Sakura...." He couldn't believe she flash stepped in the path of the kunai and him. She collapsed in his arms. He looked where the kunai hit. It hit her lung, that's all he could tell. "Sasuke we should take her to Tsunade!" Naruto called as he lifted her up. "Sakura stay awake with me.." He whispered to her as her eyes started to roll back. Sakura's death happened as a result of her two teammates' fight to the death. Naruto's attempt to change Sasuke wasn't going as expected, and now they were about to kill each other with their final blow. Naruto's intention had been to let Sasuke win and pierce through his body. But Sakura witnessed this whole thing and jumped between. It was a sickening feeling. Seeing two of the most important people in her life trying to kill each other. It was terribly wrong. In the spur of the moment, she flickered between them and took on their blows. It was abrupt and so quick that it felt like a dream. Except the pain was real. But she knew one thing for sure. She would do it over and over again if she had to. Because she wanted to protect them. That was supposed to be the end. But then she's startled awake by their Academy teacher and finds that she's returned to her twelve year old self. A seventeen year old in a twelve year old's ody.
