He promised me to go star gazing Yet he never took me to the fields And he promised we'd see my constellation Though he might've forgotten which my sign is Or never did he know cause never did he ask Or maybe he changed his mind Leaving plans way in the past He said I was his silver moon And back then it sounded so right But now I give it a different meaning I'm just his lifeless spinning satellite While he was the world to me He was a whole obstacle planet Prevented me from the sun So I could have never done it. I could only get some hints I would never feel the blinding light He could keep me captive in the middle of the darkest night I kept spinning and spinning And got all the phases as well Invisible, half and full Silver cold like ice, bright red as hell And I kept shining and brightening Giving him the only light at night But he was longing for the sun Moon wasn't enough fiery, wasn't enough bright And I stopped spinning and spinning And eventually stopped my pace I broke free from my vicious cycle orbit As universe saw my final phase I'm practically a dead moon Out of a whole strictly organized system And planets think I got rebellious But I hate just one, not all of them It's he the only one that threw me up here In the oblivion of that outer space , alone Never saw him adoring me like he does with the sun I had never realized he was so long gone I only wanted to watch the stars As he promised it would be really fun Instead he just made me part of his sky Made me his moon, the most lifeless and loneliest one .

"This is killing you.." He looks at me with sadness in his eyes. "You do know this, right?" Looking out into the night sky, I looked at the stars above that were millions of years away. I slowly nodded, holding onto the cup in my hands. "I think... the moment I saw her.. a part of me was already gone." . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . There are beautiful things in this world. There are terrible things in this world. But one thing that's always stuck in the middle of it all is love. Because love is Suicidal in the most beautiful way.
