The BuzzFeed Unsolved crew has made their way to New Orleans for the infamous Dauphine Orleans Hotel. It's the same routine: getting footage, talking to the person or staff who lives or works in said haunted places, investigation, scary sleepover, then going home.
Unless something along the lines switches up that routine in one of the most haunted cities in America.

The Buzzfeed Unsolved boys have done their fair share of investigations over the years, both from behind their desk and out and about on location. This time, however, was different. Something was off, and Ryan had a feeling it wasn't just his fear of the paranormal getting to him. This investigation / camping trip made him feel incredibly uneasy and that sensation only increased when he woke up in the middle of the night only to find Shane wasn't there anymore. ~~~~~ [Note: This is MY version of Demon!Shane which explains the how and why of him being intertwined with an evil being.] {Bold letters are used for emphasis, underlined text is used for letters, scripts or texts, italics are dialogue going on in the head of the person's whose POV the chapter is in. /Both italics & bold used as complete sentences are for a character that comes in after the first chapter...\ In the case of some dialogue interrupting a script, much like in their videos when there's nothing pointing to who said the line, the text aligned to the left is Shane speaking and text aligned to the right is Ryan speaking.} (Got the idea for this AU when I was looking through many pieces of fan art of Ryan and Shane. The Protective Entity (A Buzzfeed Unsolved AU)
The classic AU of "demon" Shane Madej. Shane is not a demon himself, but he is rather a medium that can see spirits, ghosts and supernatural entities that others cannot. He can feel the aura's of other's emotions and the slightest changes in the environment. He can communicate with spirits and scare them away. Demons, however are not so easily fooled. He can feel the chance of human emotion in the atmosphere and has physical reactions to it, such as pain or simple feelings throughout his body. He spends his ghost hunting days trying to protect his human co-worker and friend, Ryan Bergara, from the real spirits around him by trying to hide it from him. However, when Ryan goes missing, it's up to Shane to find him.Concluida

When half of their group goes missing, will the two lovers find their friends or be scared to their deaths by the spirits of The Civil War? The answer, for now, remains UNSOLVED.
