This is an idea I came up with and wanted to expand on but I don't see the point if people don't like it so please give me your thoughts on this prologue and we'll go from there.
Genre will change due to it not really being a short story but for now it is.

P.S This is kind of set in the Magi universe so if you haven't read or watched it then I recommend you find out what the world is like there as that is really the only similarity.

The Way Between The Worlds
Three girls, in three different worlds. Yet they are all strangely connected. They are all haunted by a ghastly creature. NOTE: This story jumps between three different characters in a disorienting way, which I did intentionally (for a reason that I can't say without revealing spoilers). However, in hindsight, I realize that this might also be off-putting to some readers. If you are not dissuaded, you will begin to see a pattern to the transitions (and the reason for them), and I promise you that, by the end, everything will come together and make sense. Synopsis -------------- "Let's leave my origins. We both have unspeakable origins. But the problem is I know of your origins. Galan of Taa." John said. Galactus' eyes squinted as John said his real name out loud. He never expected someone totally out of nowhere knew his actual name. "Never expected an unknown guy would know my origins. So what of it? I don't think it matters where I came from." Galactus replied. "It doesn't. You did what you had to do to survive. But the problem is you made a deal with the devil." John replied. Galactus looked at John with more stoic eyes now. He had done many things in the past and he made many bad decisions. He just wasn't sure what John was referring to so he was silent. John seeing that Galactus was silent and refused to speak said "Black Winter is coming!!" ------------- When a cinephile and an otaku/weeb travels through dimensions and gets a system which can only be described as overpowered but comes with restrictions. At first he was overjoyed with the system but soon realizes that he is in a very dangerous world where his life was at risk all the time. Disclaimer : I am not an economist so I might have done some mistakes in the economics section of the story. If you have suggestions to make it better you can leave in the comments. Warning - The MC won't be OP from the start itself and will grow to a powerful character in due time. The starting feels a bit weird because I am totally new to writing a novel and English is my second language. I don't have an editor so the conversations and descriptions might be little stiff. Please don't read this, I wrote it in middle school and it's really bad. I just don't want to delete it because some people might get mad at me ;-; Maybe someday I will rewrite it. Bad things are going to happen, and if you play them off and ignore them, it will only worsen," May's mother explained. May nodded slowly. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Once upon a time, is how most fairytales start. Then, they end with a happily ever after. But not this story... There once was a prince, who fell in love with a girl. But she wasn't a princess. She was the hand maiden of a nobleman's daughter, who had eyes for the young prince. The prince and girl fell in love, but couldn't be together, for the nobleman's daughter grew jealous when she found out, and ordered them to be killed. This story was called "The Lover's Curse." As it passed down, generation through generation, it became known as only a legend, a myth. She only needs to imagine the place she wants to see and will be there. The princess though was being a jerk so the witch cursed the mirror. Making it so that the princess ever looked into it, she will become a fearsome dragon. "The princess will no longer be a princess and she will see the world she desperately wants to see. Cassiopea's School for the Gifted
In a world where magical creatures and humans intermix, there are two types of magic and two types of people. Dark magic and light magic. Good people and evil people. Our main character is going to learn that your powers do not define who you are as a person. Arion Griffin lives in a society where people with light magic are 'good' and people with dark magic are 'bad'. He comes from a long line of dark magic. Unfortunately, this causes many problems for his social life since his family's reputation precedes him and makes it so no one will talk with him. He is worried it will make his greatest fear come true. He is terrified he is on the path to becoming evil like his parents. Then, one day at school he gets an invitation from Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sure he's heard of it, but only in rumors. The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. He makes friends and learns that just because he has dark magic, doesn't mean he is evil. *Idk if this is actually a good story but I had a lot of fun writing it! :) *This story has been editedComplete
