"I can't help my feelings anymore Mackenzie." His husky voice shouted out through the storm. I looked at him, pleading him not to say it because he'd just got back with his ex which made it even more awkward. "Don't Tom. Don't tell me that. You know how much it hurts. You know I can't deal with it. Just stop right there." I begged, the rain was dripping down my back and I was beginning to feel cold and alone. He just looked at me, his stone cold grey eyes watching me sternly. He wasn't about to give up yet. "Tell me that when I said it for the first time you felt something because I certainly did and I won't just let you go away without telling me the truth." He said simply. I looked around me and then up at the sky. "Tom, I -" I began but he cut me off. "So this is how it's going to be?" He asked before frowning and turning around. Stalking back to his car. I ran for him since he was a good distance away from me but it was too late, he'd already got into his car and was driving off by the time I'd got to the place where his car was parked. "I love you..." I trailed off. Watching him drive away at manic speed.

I had to admit, he was cute. His eyes sparkled nervously and his lips were a lovely shade of natural red. He had his arms crossed over his chest, a gesture that could possibly get him knocked out in this place. He looked as though he could fake a tough guy but at heart he was gentle. I had good instincts and they were screaming to steer clear of this guy. Why? Because he would break my heart. Why is that all the best relationships happen at the strangest of times?
