Scarlett (Scar)— a 16-year-old girl who runs away in search of new home as she tries to hide internal scars from a secret past she’d rather not talk about. Along the way she runs into a complete stranger who offers to help her with no explanation or apparent reason and in the process he tears her wounds back open in order to help them heal completely.

Jason ( Jay)— a young man who finds Scar on the streets and feeling responsible he gives her a choice to remain lost and wandering or to take his hand and let him help her. He gives her a place to stay, food, and time to heal never imagining she’d also help him with a guilt he's harbored for over 5 years.

Together they find a broken yet safe haven where you must first go backwards before moving forward, where even damaged hearts can learn to open again, and where deep imbedded Scars can with time heal back over again…
