    After losing his apartmentfollowed by the death of his parents, in a drunken car accident, Shameik Williams temporarily moves in with his best friend Jamal Davidsson and his girlfriend Kandi. 
    Shortly thereafter his luck turns around. He lands himself a lucurative new job in finance, gets himself a new apartment and then - in enters Lorie Davidsson, his best friend's little sister.
    
    Having been explicitly told to stay away from Lorie Davidsson, Shameik does the absolutely opposite. As if staying away from her wasn't difficult enough, Shameik slowly finds himself getting more involved with Lorie and finding it short of impossible to stop.
