Birdie was never one for drama, confrontation or anything in between. She was happy skating on by and just being as free as possible.
Ray was always in drama, whether with the police, his father, the school. He was happy having fun and not having a care in the world, well he could being the most popular guy in school.
Unlikely friends, Birdie being reluctant to even call him one, they shared a relationship that Birdies referred to as "enemies who want to have sex with each other".
Birdie brushed it off until she actually had sex with him. Then her drama free life was suddenly non existent and now is being confronted with the worst fear of all.
