When your village is attacked by monsters what other choice do you have then to try to get away? Kiana is at home when her village is attacked by vampires. Her mother and sister are down the road getting food when they come. Knowing they are probably dead she grabs a few things and runs into the forest near by. Now its been a year and she is still in the woods hiding from them when ever they come looking or those who escaped. But what will she do when the King comes to get her personally?
