Venus Marks was considered a freak. 

Not in the beginning. In the beginning, she was a sweet little girl. A girl who didn't judge anyone and loved everyone, no matter their flaws. 

As soon as she turned twelve, everything changed. She saw death in her grandfather's eyes. She tried to tell her parents and her grandparents, but they told her not to say such things. It was a week later that her grandfather was hit by a truck.
