this is a story about two studs from opposite sides of the track. Jay, a wealthy black stud that is extremely boastful and not very caring for others. she exceeds past the stereotypes of your "typical" "black families" and has trouble remembering that she also is a female..and Rock, a stud who's just trying to make it in life. she is very open minded and lowkey..what people say about her doesn't matter..
what happens when jays family has to be taken away from their suburban neighborhood and put into the "hood"? where she meets Rock whom is determined to have Jay?..
