This story is about the life of Erik and Rachel. The story is told from Erik's and Rachel's points of view  so you understand how they both feel about the same things. 

 Rachel Galloway is new to school and her dad is away a lot so her mom and her moved to California. At first Rachel was scared because she had lived in North Dakota and went to a private school for as long as she can remember. She starts falling for a Bad Boy Football player.

Erik Reynolds has lived in California most of his life and gone to the same public school  since 5th grade. He was a player who never thought about changing his ways until Rachel got there he dropped every player way for her as soon as she got there and went after her.

Before Rachel knows that the boy she is falling for has a secret will it be to late?  Will it be the end of something that she holds dear or will it be the beginning of something beautifully dangerous?

She knew that he would just break her heart but she took a chance on him in her senior year. He isn't quite what she expected him to be towards someone like her. Chase is a tough cliche bad boy with a long line of fighting in the past only because he cared about his older brother and was trying to pay off his debt. Little did he know that the boss of his fights had a connection with Rachel. Chase had always seen Rachel as the nerdy girl that had a pretty face. He would've never thought that he would have a strong set of feelings towards her. She has shocked him in so many ways and he's sure that she will surprise him more in the future. What is driving her insane though is that he's only too cold when it comes to her. After some not so pleasant moments and lots of glares, she tells herself that the best is to stay away from him, but it won't be that easy. After a disastrous kiss and hidden jealousy, she finds herself deeply involved into what is this frustrating boy. Add to that the fact that he is her roommates' childhood best friend and you can see drama from miles away. Noah claims to hate her ever since they met, and he doesn't mean her first day of college. He remembers her just fine from a couple of years ago and all the feelings are back. He knows she doesn't remember him and he'll use this as his leverage to do what he has to do. It's what he promised his father and himself, even if it means he has to pretend to care for her. All he cares is his family business. At least it's what he tells himself, until the feelings start getting too mixed and he ends up thinking of her more than he should. Maybe it's not all about business after all. He knows their history started before she even knows, what he didn't expect was for her to be so different from what he has always believed.

You do not HAVE to read College mom-to-be first to understand this book because it has it's own story line. It's basically just the characters because the story is from the daughter's point of view now.
