Arabella Washington is a smart mouthed, talkative, highly intelligent girl who always feels like she has something to prove. Coming from a family of well educated individuals, she feels she needs to live up to that, and finds the perfect opportunity at Columbia University.
John Laurens is the loud, smiling, beaten down boy from South Carolina. At sixteen, he moved away to get away from his father, a cruel man who resorted to violence. Now, he will show everyone that he is not weak like his father. He is shocked when he receives a scholarship to Columbia University, a place where he can find friends and a new family.
Both have something to prove. Both have nothing to loose.

"King's College" is where he works now, much different than the small town he used to live in. He takes a liking to quite a few of the locals, finding it isn't as hard as he thought to make friends, and maybe even something more that that. Alexander Hamilton comes from a smaller town in Jersey. He's used to the big city, but finds living on his own for the first time is proving easier said than done. Keeping up on school has never really been a problem for him, but distractions such as a complicated relation with a professor and a life that just can't seem to give him a break makes it a little harder than he had initially intended.Complete
