Draco has always liked Hermione but would never admit it until they both have to share a common room. When he asked her one day if she would give him a second chance she said she already was and it started on the train ride to Hogwarts when he explained to her he was sorry for being mean to her and her friends and that he wanted to start anew with them all

"It's a date, Granger," he winked just as he disappeared under his Disillusionment Charm, leaving her in a state of elation combined with panic. Apparently, he finally thought they were ready to move forward. -from chapter 4: "Relationship with him" After the war, Hermione returns to Hogwarts, this time without Harry and Ron. A broken friendship and a failed opportunity for love between Hermione and Ron lead her to give the opportunity to someone else. For the eighth time, Draco, a reformed Death Eater, is coming to Hogwarts. Without friends around him, he is forced to give the chance to someone else. When Hermione arrived at Hogwarts, she didn't expect to feel so at ease when paired with Draco for potions. But what happens when Hermione plans to be better than Draco in potions? Will her way work? Even if they get a new chance, love will demand everything from them. I don't own Harry Potter; it's all J.K. Rowling.
