Art by sae "Magic isn't something very new here. It's something we have that Earth doesn't. It's a part of Kin that only we have. We take pride in magic here, because it's something that makes us more advanced than Earth. Although, no one really knows how it works. However, magic doesn't come from within like it's normally depicted. It stems from artifacts, Jyns as they're called. There's a limited number of Jyns, but they're always fascinating to see." Journey into Khunh Inh Nea and follow the tale of the adventurers and their Jyns, artifacts that grant magic based on knowledge. [A/N] This story is on hiatus for now, but once it is finished, it will have a complete revamp with notes that explain the mythology and history that the powers of the Jyns stem from (unless already stated). Two nations locked in a three century long struggle for dominance in which neither side showed any sign of giving in. That was until one nation conceived of a weapon that would have dire consequences for the world. The supersoldiers known only as "Mages." The war is won and the people can now at last live in peace. Or at least that is how it should have been... Mages have been condemned as they have been deemed too powerful by "the Council." Inquisitors have been sent out to find any who remain and their orders are clear. Subjugation or destruction. Countless lives have been taken. Families torn apart. Freedom sounds like a distant dream. Yet one person may yet have the power to save the world. Or destroy it.
