After her parent's divorce, it's been her and her mom ever since. Hadley has her best friend by her side and that was all she really needed. Change wasn't something she was fond of; so when it came knocking on her door, she did everything she could to avoid it.

That didn't work out so well, considering that "change" ended up being her mother's new boyfriend of eight months. Six months after, Hadley's life was about to change again once more when he proposed to her mother.

With one surprise after another, the one surprise she didn't expect to be getting was three step-brothers. The one tiny detail her mother never mentioned was her boyfriend's three sons. She knew Hadley would never go along with the idea, unless she hid it from her until it was the right time to break the news. Meaning, Hadley didn't find out until the two families met, announcing their engagement.

From the start, Hadley despised the idea of her mother being with another man, nor did her step-brothers enjoy the idea of their father being with another woman. The four detested their parents marrying and having a new family. The only thing stopping them was that their parents were happy.

Hadley, along with these boys' lives, were about to change. They were going to have to learn to deal with each other and get along for the sake of their parents' marriage. With the four of them and their friends...well, let's just say their life would be anything, but dull.

He said as he saw me looking down at the ring I had on my finger, fidgeting it and giving him a small smile. "Hey! No! I'm not committed or something!" I said reluctantly correcting him, as he mistook me with the ring. "Oh! So, is it a YES?" he asks with sparkles in his eyes. "Sorry! But I don't want to get into these stuffs... at least right now!" I said, knowing it'll hurt him. "But don't you worry! We'll be good friends!" I told him to cheer him up. He passed me a weak smile and went to his locker, as I went to mine.
